Went to the gym last night for the first time since the Great Ice Skating Debacle of Aught Nine. It hurt, but not really bad. And the way I was compensating for my knee did a number on my calf muscle. But the good news is, I got some exercise. I'm walking almost normally - and feeling pretty good. Probably flat walking would be the thing to do for now - instead of the elliptical which requires a little more joint movement (or am I imagining that?) ... It's a start.

Tonight our plans are to attend an NYU basketball game. They're held at our gym - so I've seen snippets while stretching and so-forth. It's a girls' game at 6 and then the boys at 8. Out the door.
