Scholastic celebrates Harry Potter's 10th with read-a-thon - PRWeek US:
"NEW YORK: Scholastic will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the first book in J.K. Rowling's popular series, by hosting a fan read-thon September 23. On 'Harry Potter Cover to Cover Day,' muggles of all ages will have a chance to sit in the throne used by Rowling in her US appearances and read from the book."
I could probably read the first book cover to cover in one day (I read the last one cover to cover in one day - what a day that was!), but I didn't like the first book so much. I wonder if I could get my HP-look-alike husband to read one of the books to mark the 10th Anniversary... Or not.
